A charity paddle from Catalina Island to Newport Beach to raise money for the Ben Carlson Foundation. On top of producing the live stream we created a series of pre-edited videos for playback during the four hour live stream. The event raised nearly $250,000 dollars for the foundation.
As part of the live stream production we created profile videos on specific paddlers or paddler groups to create stories within the bigger story for viewers to follow along in anticipation of how they will finish.
Additional videos profiling the people who created and organize the paddle plus some of the logistics involved. These give the viewers more context about the paddle and they watch the live stream.
